Common Mistakes to Avoid

Submitting Non-Vector Files
Raster files (.PNG, .JPG) are not suitable for most patch types. Always provide vector files unless ordering embroidered patches.
Extremely Thin Lines
Lines that are too thin may not reproduce cleanly. Ensure adequate stroke thickness for durability and clarity.
Insufficient Sew Margin
Failing to allow 7mm spacing for sew-on applications can cause stitching to overlap your artwork.
Overly Complex Detail
Very fine details, small text, or gradients may not translate well to certain patch types. Simpler designs often produce stronger results.
Incorrect Sizing
Artwork should be submitted at the intended production size to ensure proper scaling and detail retention.
Fonts Not Outlined
All fonts must be converted to outlines before submission to prevent font substitution issues.
